Hi guys,

Seems like newnet is having issues and people aren't able to connect to irc.

As a short term work around, you can try connecting directly to one of the sub servers. Two that have worked so far are: irc.aohell.org and irc.ircsoulz.org. There's no guarantee that either will work for you or for how long.

We have no idea how long this may last and are exploring alternatives.

Their IP changed. Technical term was that we were waiting for dns propogation. (done by now)

Basically, the servers got moved to a new IP address, so the irc domain address was no longer pointing at the right IP address. We were waiting on internet to figure out where the connection to the server got moved to.

It seems that the IRC connection issues are all cleared up. Thanks for your patience.
