Red Rods is a Montessori activity designed to give your child a sense of long and short by sorting the varying length rods from longest to shortest or shortest to longest. Activities like Red Rods teach sequences and order, a necessary foundation for math development. It also helps in determining a child’s math readiness.
Sound Boxes, also a Montessori activity, is designed to develop your child’s auditory senses by matching objects that make similar sounds. Activities like Sound Boxes help to develop listening skills, a necessary building block for language development.
