Surveys? We don’t need no stinking surveys!
Does anyone actually fill those things out? Why do they send them anyway? You know what I mean. Credit card companies, Banks, they all send them. You would think that those multi-Billion dollar credit card companies and greedy bankers would have enough money to hire a fancy marketing research firm and pay millions of dollars to figure out what you like…oh, wait a minute…
THEY DO!
And what do those fancy marketing research firms do with those millions of dollars? (any guesses?) That’s right, they send you a survey. They also use those millions of dollars to entice you to fill out the survey by giving you a chance to win an iPod or send you a coupon for something you’ll never buy.
So what does a small indie game developer do when they want to find out what you like? We’re not a big greedy bank with millions of dollars to spend in order to ask you what you like. Seriously! My spouse will have my neck if I invite some high-powered marketing guru over for dinner and start talking about money we don’t have – I wonder if I could pay with a Cheese Cake? – wait – reality check – okay done.
So we dipped deep into our coffers – wait, deep? coffer? one moment…another reality check – okay done. We found a free service that allows us to send you a survey for free, which fits our budget very well.
