Happy New Year
Think about it, we all just took another trip around the sun together. That means we all traveled the distance of about 581,165,175 miles (935,294,688 km) over the last year! Incredible isn’t it?! How about this: A typical cookie is about 4 inches in diameter. If you laid them side-by-side it would take 14,815,067,857,920 cookies to span that distance. That’s a lot of cookies! Hmm…that seems like a nice side project for Citrine. Hey Cit! You better start baking!
During that trip Flowerpot Games got the FPG FaceBook and Twitter pages up and running, launched the blogs that you are currently reading, gave the Flowerpot Games Website a new look, and previewed the impressive Pseudo-Translator. Behind the scenes there has been a huge amount of work done on the MMOnster game engine. Llarlen launched and is about to complete the MMOnster sound system which will take the level of sound quality, depth, and immersion to a new level, I am busily crafting the integrated game editing tools and adding features as we need them, Magicraoul is crafting models as time allows and Dorje has created so many quests and items that it’s frankly a bit overwhelming.
Each new year brings new and exciting things, some expected and some unexpected. Perhaps in 2010 Flowerpot Games will bring you something … unexpected
